Have you ever stopped to watch old movies?
Sometimes I like to.
I like it a lot better when sitting on the capital lawn with my sister in law, eating a picnic dinner and waiting for the sun to go down. It was perfect. A Loony Tune clip to begin, the traditional dance to celebrate, then the feature It Happened One Night. All with the backdrop of the US Capital building alight behind. It was quite possibly one of the best nights I've had in the city. Made better by witty comments, perfect weather, and crowd noises to remind you that you that everyone else was enjoying this evening just as much as you were. Awesome.
Setting aside to type for two minutes to record the little thoughts and things that make me wonder or make life wonderful.

Goggles and a Pool
With so many random things going on, its nice to remember how much fun a pair of goggles, and the pool, can really be.

Love
I have been thinking a lot about love lately. Just one of those things. Brother's getting married, watching my niece and nephew respond to their parents love. It's an amazing thing what love can do. So often I see parents, families, and even friends, miss understanding love, or using it to their advantage. It's nice to know that true love casts out fear. That when I see that love reflected in my family, and in their homes, I know that I am blessed by the Father. That He wants me to understand how He loves. And as I understand "Kings love," then I too am free.
